Event Basics
When and where is Lumina?
Lumina will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Arizona Science Center 600 E. Washington St., Phoenix, AZ 85004 [map]
What time should VIP guests arrive?
VIP guests should plan to arrive by 5 p.m. Please allow extra time for arrival, parking and check-in. Please plan ahead and allow extra time for arrival. Phoenix Fan Fusion will also be taking place downtown June 5–7 at the Phoenix Convention Center, and more than 100,000 visitors are expected throughout the weekend. Downtown Phoenix is likely to be very busy, and nearby parking may fill quickly.
What is included with VIP admission?
VIP admission includes early entry, a complimentary signature cocktail/mocktail, three additional drink tickets and a special 45-minute showing in the Dorrance DOME before the full reception begins.
What time does the DOME experience begin?
The Dorrance DOME experience will begin at 5:15 p.m. Because of the nature of this experience, late entry may not be available. Please plan to arrive on time so you do not miss this special part of the evening.
What happens after the DOME experience?
After the DOME experience, VIP guests will be guided to the reception area, where music, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be available beginning at 6 p.m.
What is the evening schedule?
VIP arrival begins at 5 p.m. The Dorrance DOME experience begins at 5:15 p.m. Music, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres begin at 6 p.m. Opening remarks will begin at 6:30 p.m. Following the remarks, guests will be invited to engage with featured artists, collect stickers for their Passport, explore artwork, enjoy live demonstrations and participate in the Experience Drawing. Winners of the Passport Drawing and Experience Drawing will be announced after closing remarks at approximately 8:30 p.m. The event ends at 9 p.m.
Parking and Arrival
Where should VIP guests park?
Parking is available in the Heritage Square Parking Garage, where 150 complimentary parking spaces have been reserved for Lumina. When you arrive, bring your parking ticket with you to check-in and ask an Encircle Families staff member for your validation sticker. Should guests plan extra time for parking?

What if I arrive via rideshare or Light Rail?
The Arizona Science Center, located at 600 E. Washington St. in downtown Phoenix, is easily accessible via the Valley Metro Light Rail (3rd St/Washington or 3rd St/Jefferson stations) and via rideshare (Uber/Lyft/Waymo) with a dedicated drop-off area on 5th Street
Where do VIPs check in?
VIP guests will check in at the designated VIP entrance just west of the main entrance. Encircle Families staff and volunteers will be available to welcome you and direct you to the Dorrance DOME experience.
Accessibility
Is the VIP entrance accessible?
The VIP entrance includes stairs. Encircle Families staff will be available to assist guests who need to be guided to a more accessible path. If you have accessibility needs, please let us know in advance when possible so we can help make your arrival smooth and comfortable.
What if I need assistance during the evening?
Encircle Families staff and volunteers will be available throughout the evening. Please let someone know if you need assistance with directions, seating, accessibility or any other event-related need.
Artist Experience
When will guests be able to meet the artists?
The artist area is expected to open after remarks, around 6:45 p.m. Guests will be invited to visit each artist, learn more about their work, collect Passport stickers, watch live demonstrations and purchase artwork.
Can guests purchase artwork?
Yes. Artwork will be available for purchase directly from the artists’ stations using the QR code provided for each artist. Encircle Families staff will be available to assist if a guest has trouble using a QR code or needs another payment option.
What if I purchase artwork but do not want to carry it during the evening?
If you are unable to take the artwork with you at the time of purchase, the artist may offer the courtesy of holding the piece at their display area until the end of the evening. There will not be a communal pickup area for sold art.
Passport and Experience Drawing
What is the Passport?
Upon check-in, each guest will receive a Passport that encourages them to visit each featured artist. Each artist will have a unique sticker to place in the Passport when you stop by their station.
How do I enter the Passport Drawing?
Visit each artist and collect all Passport stickers. Once your Passport is complete, submit it for a chance to win. Winners will be announced at approximately 8:30 p.m.
What is the Experience Drawing?
The Experience Drawing is a fun way for guests to participate in the evening and support Encircle Families. Guests can use tickets to enter for the artwork and experiences they are interested in winning.
Do guests receive an Experience Drawing Ticket?
Yes. Each guest will receive one Experience Drawing ticket upon arrival. Additional tickets will be available for purchase during the event.
Event Details
What should guests wear?
Event attire is cocktail or creative cocktail. We invite you to dress in a way that feels festive, comfortable and true to the spirit of the evening.
Will food and drinks be served?
Yes. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served througout the evening.
What time does the event end?
Bars close at 8:30 p.m., and closing remarks will take place at that time in the lobby. The event ends at 9 p.m.
