As you read our lead article on accessing behavioral health care for children, teens and young adults, I’m reminded why this work matters so deeply. For many families, knowing where to start can feel overwhelming, especially when they are already navigating stress, uncertainty or crisis. Clear information, compassionate guidance and timely support can make all the difference. Helping families find their way through complex systems is at the heart of what we do.
This past year has not been an easy one. Like many of the families we serve, our community has faced real challenges, such as capacity constraints, rising needs and moments that tested our endurance. Yet even in those moments, I’ve seen remarkable resilience. I’ve watched families advocate fiercely for their children, staff go above and beyond to meet families where they are, and partners step up with generosity, flexibility and trust.
I want to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who supported this work over the past year: our staff, board members, funders, volunteers, community partners and the families who allow us to walk alongside them. Your belief in family support and in the power of informed advocacy sustains this organization. Every training delivered, every coaching conversation, every system navigated together is possible because of that shared commitment.
As we look ahead to 2026, I do so with a sense of grounded hope. We are entering the new year wiser from experience, clearer about our priorities and committed to strengthening the supports that help families thrive. There is still much work to do, but we move forward with resilience rooted in relationships, guided by our mission and confident that together we can meet the challenges ahead.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
