On Saturday, June 6, Encircle Families invites you to experience something new: Lumina, an art-filled evening created to shine a light on the strength of families, the creativity of Arizona artists and the power of community support.
Held at the Arizona Science Center, Lumina is not a typical fundraiser. It is part art experience, part community gathering and part celebration of possibility. Guests will enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, music, live artist demonstrations and the chance to connect directly with local artists whose work brings color, texture and meaning to the evening.
A One-of-a-Kind Setting
The Arizona Science Center provides the perfect backdrop for Lumina. Known as a place of discovery, imagination and curiosity, the venue sets the tone for an evening that invites guests to explore, engage and be inspired.
VIP guests will begin the evening with a special Dorrance DOME experience before joining the main reception, where the energy of the night will unfold through art, conversation and connection.
Meet the Artists Behind the Work
Lumina will feature a curated group of local artists offering original pieces for sale throughout the evening. Guests will have the opportunity to meet artists, learn about their process and purchase artwork directly from the people who created it.
This personal connection is part of what makes Lumina so special. Rather than viewing art from a distance, guests are invited into the story behind each piece. The evening will include live demonstrations, artist conversations and opportunities to see creativity in action.
Each artist brings a unique perspective, style and medium to the event, creating a vibrant experience for guests whether they are longtime collectors, casual art lovers or simply looking for a meaningful night out.
More Than an Art Show
Lumina is designed to be interactive. Guests will receive a Passport and are encouraged to visit each featured artist, collect stickers along the way and take in the full experience. Completed Passports can be entered into a drawing, adding a fun, exploratory element to the evening.
Guests will also receive one experience drawing ticket upon arrival, with additional opportunities to participate throughout the night. Experience drawing items will include special packages, donated artwork and unique experiences that help make the evening even more memorable.
Whether you purchase a piece of art, participate in the drawings or simply spend the evening connecting with artists and community members, every guest will be part of something meaningful.
